Studbit Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility and User Obligations

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, passwords, and access codes.

2. Account Registration and Verification

To use certain features, you may be required to register for a Studbit account. Depending on the feature, this may involve providing personal information, wallet connection (e.g., Aptos wallet), and profile details such as username, bio, and linked socials.

3. Login and Security

Studbit allows multiple login options, including standard email authentication and wallet login (e.g., Aptos wallet). You are responsible for ensuring your device and credentials remain secure.

4. Services Provided

• Blockchain and Web3 educational resources
• Interactive courses, demos, and tutorials
• Gamified learning with XP rewards
• Custom user profiles with usernames, bios, and socials
• Project exploration and bookmarking features

5. Use Restrictions

You agree not to use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious activity, attempt to gain unauthorized access, impersonate another user, violate laws, or interfere with the platform. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations.

6. Fees and Transactions

Studbit is primarily free to use. However, certain features may involve fees, which will be clearly disclosed before use. You are responsible for any third-party costs such as blockchain transaction fees.

6A. XP and Onchain XP Rewards

• XP and Onchain XP have no monetary value.
• XP and Onchain XP cannot be redeemed, transferred, exchanged, or sold for cash, cryptocurrency, or any financial equivalent.
• XP may only be used within Studbit for platform-related features or perks.
• Studbit may modify or discontinue the XP system at any time without liability.
• Accumulated XP does not create property, ownership, or financial rights.

7. Third-Party Providers

Studbit may integrate with third-party providers (e.g., wallet authentication, APIs). Your use of their services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

8. Data Protection and Privacy

Your personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy, covering account management, wallet login authentication, and personalization.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in Studbit’s Services—including software, designs, content, trademarks, and logos—belongs to Studbit or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute without written consent.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Studbit’s Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee error-free operation, uninterrupted service, or flawless third-party integrations. Use is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Studbit is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, progress, or rewards. Our liability is capped at the amount you paid (if any) for premium Services in the six months prior to the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, create legal or reputational risks, or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall first be resolved by good faith negotiation, then by arbitration in Lagos under the Nigerian Arbitration and Conciliation Act.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update or modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of material changes through email or in-app notifications. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
